Oman reveals design of Dubai Expo 2020 pavilion
Oman has revealed the design of its pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai.
The rendering of the pavilion was revealed by Oman’s ministry of Heritage and Culture His Highness Sayyid Haitham Bin Tariq Al Said on Twitter.
It appears to be designed around a tree and will be titled ‘Opportunities over time’, the ministry said. From this central trunk, spaces intersect at different levels with the display areas. The outer façade of the pavilion resembles branches of the frankincense tree.
The Sultanate will be participating in Expo 2020, which will hosted by Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The event is on from 20 October, 2020 and will go on until 10 April, 2021.
