Nama Group to sponsor OCCI’s Business Opportunities Forum
In line with its commitment towards participation in creating a diverse and sustainable economy and contributing to the Oman’s growth, Nama Group will be one of the main sponsors of the Business Opportunities Forum to be held on November 16-17, at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
In line with its commitment towards participation in creating a diverse and sustainable economy and contributing to the Oman’s growth, Nama Group will be one of the main sponsors of the Business Opportunities Forum to be held on November 16-17, at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
Nama Group will be the (Gold) sponsor of the forum Organised by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), the two-day event aims to enhance partnerships between corporate entities and Small and Medium Enterprises.
The sponsorship is a part of Nama Group’s objective to enrich the in-country value for products and services, especially in the electricity sector. The Group believes in inspiring the Omani youth to embrace the spirit of entrepreneurship and be able to play a strategic role in helping these local SMEs establish themselves in the market.
Speaking about the participation of Nama Group, Eng. Hamad Al Maghderi, CEO of RAECO and the Chairman of In- Country Value Committee Said: “Supporting the (SMEs) is key to boosting the economy. Also, this is where most of the innovation comes from. As part of our Group’s basic values, we endeavour to build a sustainable future for the country and that can happen only when events such as the Business Opportunities Forum receive support from corporate entities. We wish to continue encouraging more such initiatives in the future.”
Nama Group will also use this event as an opportunity to highlight the company’s capital programme for 2016 which is worth USD 1billion. Also, the Group will carry out signing ceremonies for some major projects, and showcase ventures that support the economic development of the nation.
