Dubai Science Park continues growth with new business partners
Dubai Science Park (DSP), the free zone community dedicated to facilitating and fostering the growth of the UAE’s science sector, announced key new business partners have joined the community.
Dubai Science Park (DSP), the free zone community dedicated to facilitating and fostering the growth of the UAE’s science sector, announced key new business partners have joined the community.
The newest business partners to DSP include AIIAL International, liquid products manufacturer of personal, fabric, home care products, and hospital disinfectants with the capacity to produce over 20 million units per year of products. The AIIAL facility with be one of the cleanest, most energy efficient manufacturing sites in the region.
Energetics, a leading American energy and management consultancy, have also joined DSP. Having worked with the U.S. Department of Energy for over 35 years in order to support the American clean energy ambitions, they have chosen DSP as their base to help Dubai achieve its Clean Energy Strategy 2050, providing high-quality advisory support to clients within the region.
In addition, MEAgate, has set up operations in DSP to address the needs of small to medium innovative companies in the biopharmaceutical industry. MEAgate is among others the commercial and customer facing operations arm of Alimera Sciences (NASDAQ: ALIM).
In total, DSP has welcomed 20 new business partners to its community in Q4 2015, bringing the total number of industry specific businesses in the community to 300.
DuBiotech and EnPark where launched as DSP October 2015, joining the two established brands in the science sector to create a hub for the life science, new energy and environment sectors in Dubai to grow and thrive. By providing bespoke, flexible office, warehouse and laboratory space, DSP caters for every need of the science community providing businesses with a home in close proximity to the rest of the value chain helping facilitate collaboration, knowledge sharing and encouraging innovation.
