Ahli Islamic hosted a virtual session to celebrate the second quarterly draw of “Qitaf” where the lucky winner was presented a whopping RO 100,000!
Qitaf, which is based on the Islamic Mudaraba principle, instills savings culture among its customers and also gives them a chance to qualify for cash prizes.
Welcoming the audience to the virtual session of the celebratory event held at Ghubra branch, which was broadcast on the Ahli Islamic’s social media platforms, Saif Al Fori, the presenter, invited Yousuf Al Rawahi, Deputy General Manager and Head of Ahli Islamic to provide an overview of the Qitaf prize scheme.
“The Qitaf Account is one of the innovative and attractive banking solutions to reward our customers for their commitment to adopt savings habits in order to achieve their long-term dreams. Account holders stand to win prizes worth more than RO 1 Million through the savings and rewards account “Qitaf” by participating in weekly, monthly, quarterly and special occasion draws,” Yousuf Al Rawahi said.
“We are indeed delighted to hold the celebratory event live on Ahli Islamic’s social media platforms. Customers are not only aware of the importance of savings but are also keen on participating in various draws. I would like to congratulate Saif bin Khamis Al Shidi from Saham branch, the lucky winner of the second quarterly Qitaf prize scheme.”
“Ahli Islamic is committed to reward loyal customers. We will continue to explore new ways to reward them suitably while at the same time encourage them to imbibe the savings culture,” he added.
Following this, the presenter invited the winner of the quarterly prize scheme to share his thoughts. Saif bin Khamis Al Shidi from Saham branch, who won the RO100,000 prize was ecstatic. “This has come as a big surprise. I never thought I would emerge as the winner so quickly as I had started dealing with Ahli Islamic since the beginning of this year only and previously I had been dealing with another local bank for 28 years and had never had a win with them. Thanks to Ahli Islamic, I can now achieve my dreams. People should imbibe the savings culture as it is essential to their financial well-being.”
Qitaf account holders are eligible to participate in the draws if they maintain an average minimum balance of RO 100. However, the minimum eligibility criteria for the quarterly draw is RO 1,000. Offering unique savings opportunities with customer convenience, Qitaf’s prime objective is to instill a culture of savings among its customers and reward them for their prudence. Qitaf’s weekly prize draws offer guaranteed cash prizes for two
winners from each branch of Ahli Islamic; with each winner being rewarded with RO 250. Monthly draws to one winner being rewarded RO 20,000. The quarterly draws, offer a prize money of RO 100,000 each quarter, to one winner across the Bank’s branch network. Additionally, a special prize draw will be held to mark the 50th National Day, rewarding 50 winners with RO 2,000 each.
