‘Rhythm of Life: Richness and Diversity in Omani Arts’ Exhibition Opens at Royal Opera House of Musical Arts
The Royal Opera House Muscat has announced the opening of ‘Rhythm of Life: Richness and Diversity in Omani Arts’ exhibition at the Exhibition Hall of the Royal Opera House of Musical Arts. The launch event took place under the auspices of distinguished dignitaries and cultural leaders, who gathered to celebrate this landmark exhibition.
The opening welcomed an enthusiastic audience, filling the exhibition hall with a warm spirit of national pride as Oman enters its National Day holidays. Guests explored the rich soundscapes, rare artefacts and immersive acoustic experiences that reveal the depth and diversity of Oman’s musical traditions. The exhibition highlights the craftsmanship and cultural virtue that continue to shape the nation’s evolving artistic identity.

Umberto Fanni, Director General of the Royal Opera House Muscat, shared this message following the launch, “It is a joy to see Rhythm of Life come alive with such passion and appreciation. This exhibition honours the spirit of Oman and the creativity of its people. We are proud to open our doors to families, students and visitors from around the world, and we look forward to welcoming even larger crowds as the exhibition continues.”
The exhibition is already drawing strong public interest, with large numbers expected throughout the National Day holidays and the winter season. Visitors are invited to discover an experience that celebrates both heritage and innovation, offering a source of pride for all Omanis and a warm welcome to international guests. Rhythm of Life runs from November 19, 2025 to February 7, 2026, open daily (except Friday) from 10 am to 9 pm. The Royal Opera House Muscat invites all visitors to experience the excellence of this exhibition and to celebrate the warmth, diversity and cultural pride that define the rhythm of life in Oman.
A series of public talks will accompany the exhibition, giving audiences the opportunity to engage directly with scholars and musicians who have contributed to the preservation and evolution of Omani musical culture. The schedule is as follows:
