Ominvest and Bait Al Zubair Launch “Future Frames” to Empower Youth through Art and AI
In line with its commitment to sustainable development and youth empowerment, Oman International Development and Investment Company (Ominvest), in partnership with the Bait Al Zubair Foundation, has launched a pioneering program that combines art and artificial intelligence. The initiative, titled “Future Frames”, reflects the shared vision of both institutions to nurture creativity, enhance learning, and build a knowledgeable and productive generation aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
The innovative initiative titled comes in collaboration with Sard Platform, a specialized hub for AI-powered visual storytelling. The customized training curriculum covers AI applications such as prompt writing, AI-supported Photoshop, and content publishing. The program also focuses on exploring the ethical and cultural considerations of AI-generated works, ensuring that innovation remains responsible and authentically expressive of the creator’s vision.
The initiative targets two main age groups: students aged 12–16 years (intermediate and secondary levels) under the track “Introduction to AI and Creativity”, and students aged 16–20 years (upper secondary and university levels) under the track “Art and AI Projects.” The program includes hands-on workshops and creative labs, providing opportunities for students to showcase their AI-generated artworks in exhibitions held at Bait Al Zubair.
Commenting on the partnership, Badar Al Shanfari, Chief Operating Officer at Ominvest said: “This collaboration underscores our dedication to investing in the future of Oman’s youth by supporting initiatives that merge innovation, education and creativity. The Future Frames champions the principles of the UN SDGs by promoting inclusive, quality education and fostering innovation for a sustainable future. Through this partnership, we aim to empower the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital and creative economy, fulfilling our role as a significant catalyst for positive change in the Sultanate.”
Also, Dr. Muna Al Sulaimi, General Manager of Bait Al Zubair Foundation added, “This partnership reflects our commitment to achieving the UN SDGs related to quality education and aligns with Oman Vision 2040 by equipping students with transferable, industry-relevant skills in art and technology. It supports young people in identifying clear future pathways especially in creative professions, while fostering multidisciplinary collaboration between art, design, and technology.”
