Ibtisam Al Farooji Appointed New Undersecretary For Investment Promotion In Oman
His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has issued a Royal Decree today [February 9, 2023] that appoints Ibtisam Bint Ahmed Said Al Farooji as the Undersecretary for Investment Promotion at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion.
This appointment is a significant development in the realm of investment promotion and demonstrates the Government’s commitment to attracting investment and driving economic growth under Oman Vision 2040.
Ibtisam Al Farooji was formerly the Director-General of Investment Services at Madayn.
The Royal Decree will be published in the Official Gazette, and the publication will serve as an official notification to all concerned parties and will come into effect on February 9, 2023, the date of its issuance.
