Oman Bans Work Visas For Expats In 207 Professions
The Sultanate’s Ministry of Labour has issued a statement barring the issuance of work visas for expats in over 200 professions.
Currently capped at 207 professions, the decision was issued by His Excellency Professor Mahad Bin Said Bin Ali Baawain, the Minister of Labour, to further the efforts of Omanisation and increase the hiring of local talents.
Below is the list of professions that are barred for expats in Oman:
