Top 8 Indian Origin CEOs Dominating U.S Tech Giants
After Jack Dorsey stepped down as CEO of Twitter on Monday, Indian-American Parag Agrawal was appointed the new CEO of the microblogging platform. Several other big technology companies are being run by CEOs who are either Indian or of Indian origin, and Agrawal is the latest addition to the list.
SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter on Monday to praise Indian talent and said greatly it benefits the United States. He tweeted, “USA benefits greatly from Indian talent!”

He holds a PhD in computer science from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay.
Sundar Pichai – CEO, Google


Raghuram held product management and marketing roles at AOL, Bang Networks and Netscape. Raghuram holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.

Sud was born in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Indian immigrants. She grew up in Flint, Michigan. In 1997, at age 14, Sud left Flint to study at Phillips Andover Academy, a private school in Andover, Massachusetts.
Sud graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2005, with a B.Sc. in Finance and Management. In 2011, she received her MBA from Harvard Business School.
Jayshree Ullal – CEO, Arista Networks

Ullal was born in London and raised in New Delhi, India, through her school years. She eventually attended San Francisco State University where she graduated with a B.S. in engineering (electrical). She went on to Santa Clara University where she received a master’s degree in engineering management.
