Ministry Of Labour Announces 73 Employment Opportunities in Private Sector
Muscat: The Ministry of Labour has unveiled 73 jobs (up for grabs by jobseekers) in private sector establishments.
The opportunities are distributed as follows: 8 for holders of Master’s degree, 25 for university (Bachelor’s) degree holders, 4 for ‘higher diploma’ holders, 11 for holders of qualifications above General Education Diploma (postgraduate certificates), 4 for holders of vocational diplomas and 15 for General Education Diploma (GED) holders and 5 jobs for holders of qualifications below GED and other standings.
A statement to this effect was made by Budoor Issa Al Harthi, Director of Employment Opportunities Department at the Ministry of Labour, who affirmed that the jobs were announced by the Ministry as part of ongoing coordination with private sector establishments aimed to fill vacancies in specialized areas.
Budoor added that the website of the Ministry of Labour provides more than 2970 vacancies, of which 546 were slated for holders of qualifications below the GED, 1395 for GED holders, 590 for qualifications above GED, 401 for Bachelor’s degree holders, 36 for Master’s degree holders and 5 for PhD holders.
