New GoAir Routes to connect Indian Cities to Muscat, Abu Dhabi
GoAir will be scaling up its international operations by launching seven new routes from 19 July 2019, the company announced on Sunday.
New Routes:
- Mumbai-Muscat
- Delhi-Muscat
- Mumbai-Abu Dhabi
- Delhi-Abu Dhabi
The airline also announced new routed to Bangkok from both Mumbai and Delhi and flights to Dubai and Kuwait from Kannur.
Exploring New Markets
Bangkok, Dubai, and Kuwait are among the new ‘markets’ for GoAir. It already operates flights to Abu Dhabi and Muscat from Kannur from Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai
In an interview with an Indian daily, a spokesperson from the airline stated that GoAir has flown over 72 million passengers since its inception, and in the next two years would touch the 100-million passenger mark.
Wider Aviation Network in the Middle East
Ever since Jet Airways suspended its operations, there has been an additional demand for flights in the India’s civil aviation market.
SpiceJet, too, recently announced eight direct daily overseas flights from Mumbai and Delhi to Riyadh and Jeddah. The airline, which currently operates a daily non-stop Mumbai-Dubai flight, will introduce a second flight on the route from August 3.
