Oman’s Distribution Code Review Panel (DCRP) has approved 11 KV MV Switchgears manufactured by Voltamp, the leading manufacturer of transformers, switchgears and package substations in the Sultanate.

The 11 kV Medium Voltage Switchgear Type VASG11 Extendable Switch gear rated up to 12 kV, 25 kA, 1250 A with SIEMENS-Germany make Model SION-3AE5 vacuum circuit breaker has been type tested at IPH, Berlin, Germany.

Voltamp Energy SAOG is a leading Switch gear manufacturer based in Oman engaged in design, engineering, assembly, marketing and servicing of 11 kV medium voltage as well low voltage Panels. DCRP was established pursuant to article 90 of Royal Decree 78/2004 of the law for the regulation and privatization of the electricity and related water sector, and review the distribution code of the electricity system less than 132 KV by coordinating between the licensed distributors of electricity in Oman, the Authority for electricity regulations and other companies that are forming the electricity sector.
