The UK is to host the first-ever B2B conference on Muslim Lifestyle to see how businesses across the country can capitalise on one of the fastest growing sectors in the world.

The UK is to host the first-ever B2B conference on Muslim Lifestyle to see how businesses across the country can capitalise on one of the fastest growing sectors in the world.
MLE Connect, which is being held on April 7th, will bring together businesses, sector experts, entrepreneurs and industry specialists from across the UK on how to tap into this rapidly growing niche market.
The Muslim consumer lifestyle market is one of the fastest-growing sectors globally with a recent report estimating the global expenditure on food and lifestyle sectors at £1.36 trillion.
The full-day event in London will feature seminars from industry experts, workshops, panel discussions and networking sessions across a number of sectors such as media, finance, fashion, food and travel.
Tahir Mirza, founder and CEO of MLE Connect, said: “We expect up to 150 delegates to attend the inaugural event, which is open to all regardless of faith.
“We are really excited to launch MLE Connect which is the first-ever B2B event of its kind to be held in the UK.
“This is a ground-breaking event for the Muslim lifestyle sector which is a reaction to current market trends and addressing the needs of the industry.
“We are bringing together some of the more prominent names who are operating in this space including brands looking to tap into the Muslim market.
“It will be an excellent knowledge forum and an ideal platform for exchange of experiences between experts in the industry and businesses and entrepreneurs looking to tap into this market.
“This conference is open to anybody regardless of background, and will be a great way to network and develop new partnerships. We expect a number of companies to generate business and increase contact from this event.”
The event hopes to attract entrepreneurs and businesses from across the UK keen to understand the Muslim lifestyle market.
It will feature a series of panel discussions, and networking sessions on a range of topics including: how to reach Muslim consumers, business start-ups, strategies for growth, funding, modest fashion, halal food, halal travel Industry, Islamic finance, and the halal health and beauty market.
Guest speakers at the event include Sultan Choudhry (CEO of Al Rayan Bank), Altaf Alim (Commercial Director of modest fashion brand Aab), Shelina Janmohammed (Vice President of marketing agency Ogilvy Noor), award winning TV producer Navid Akhtar (CEO Alchemiya), and Moe Nawaz (Mentor and Strategic Advisor to FTSE 100 Leaders).
MLE Connect 2016 will take place Grand Connaught Rooms in London on April 7, 2016.
Last year, the team behind MLE Connect, organised the Muslim Lifestyle Expo 2015 that took place at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
