Sridhar Sharma newly appointed General Manager for Schneider Electric, Oman
Sridhar Sharma is the newly appointed General Manager for Oman for Schneider Electric overseeing operations for all businesses and segments in the country.
Before taking up his new role, Sridhar was the Vice President – Retail Business, Gulf Countries – responsible for leading all go to market channels with P&L responsibility for retail basket of Final Distribution, Wiring Devices & Cable Management Systems for the cluster, reporting to the Cluster President. Additional responsibilities included preparing and implementing commercial policy for transaction business in the Gulf and lead collaborative sales forecasting for all transactional business.
Sridhar joined Schneider Electric in Kuwait in 2007 and has taken up multiple management positions within the Gulf organisation in the last 10 years. Sridhar also has extensive experience in the Oman market during his tenure at Schneider Electric.
Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Sridhar worked with Siemens Indian operations for 11 years.
Sridhar has over 20 years of experience in the energy & automation industry. He’s a proven strategic leader in complex environments with key skillsets in sales & marketing, channel strategies, pricing & costing, people management among others.
Sridhar is Indian, married with one child. He is passionate about providing optimum customer service and is highly skilled in handling high performing teams with his outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
