Oman Arab Bank Wins Award for Innovative Banking Solutions

Oman Arab Bank was presented the award for Excellence in Innovative Banking Solutions at the New Age Banking Summit 2018.
held at the Sheraton Hotel on 30th April. His Excellency Tahir Salim Al Amri, Executive President, Central Bank of Oman was the Chief Guest. The event, attended by over 250 delegates, was organised by UMS Conferences.
The award was received by Rashad Al Musafir, Acting CEO of Oman Arab Bank, from the Chief Guest. Al Musafir was among the panellist participating in a CEO panel discussion titled ‘Way Forward to New Age Banking’.
Overall, 14 awards were presented during the ceremony.
In the second half of 2017, OAB launched its new Unified Digital Banking Platform (Omni-channel Banking) with an all-new simplified interface used across all digital channels including Internet, ATM, and the new Mobile Banking Application.
It was developed in such a way to ensure the customer experience delivered is best-in-class; incorporating the very latest digital developments, while maintaining a firm focus on usability and an easy-to-use cross-platform interface.
The Bank’s digital banking platform utilises the same visual icons and processes across all platforms, offering customers the same experience regardless of which they use.
Customers will also be able to access their OAB accounts through any platform using the same verified user information, while having their preferences and beneficiaries for transactions and bill payments remain the same, regardless of which platform they use.
