Get your Dose of good coffee in Oman
The fascinating tradition of having coffee with friends, family and colleagues can now be continued at a new address in town. Dose Café at Al Mouj recently opened its doors to residents of Muscat who love innovative and delicious hot and cold beverages made from highest quality of coffee beans using varied methods of preparation.
Founded in 2016, Dose Café opened its first outlet in Kuwait. Its success led to 31 branches opening in the Gulf within a short span of time. The brand takes pride in offering the finest 100 per cent organic coffee from Columbia, Guatemala, Peru, Ethiopia, Brazil, Mexico and Sumatra. The use of single origin coffee beans lends each cup a unique flavour and with the variety of coffee beans on offer, each visit can offer a distinctive experience of quality-crafted coffee. In addition, the varied brewing techniques ensure that a discerning customer can taste and enjoy different flavours and aromas of coffee manufactured daily at the café. The local company bringing the Dose franchise into the country is Advanced Franchise Trading.
While Dose offers a choice of cappuccinos, lattes, espressos and regular coffees, it has some in-house specialties that stand out. One of the bestsellers is the ‘Dose nuts’ that uses homemade caramel lending a distinctive flavour and aroma to the drink. The Café also offers a selection of salads, sandwiches and desserts made from fresh, healthy, low calorie ingredients. Tried, tested and favoured menu items in other existing markets include the Japanese hot and iced latte, Dulce de Leche, Spanish latte, Matcha hot and iced latte, Milk cake, Lotus cookies and brownies, Nutella cookies and brownies, Berry berry salad and Orange sesame chicken with quinoa salad. It will soon be looking into offering catering services to offices, receptions and outdoor parties as well.
Dose Café uses state-of-the-art equipment in brewing coffee that includes Chemex, V60, Siphon and Coffee Drip Tower that extends the aroma and flavour of the coffee. The comfortably designed café served by well informed and courteous staff create the perfect atmosphere for your daily dose of coffee.
“Oman is a melting pot of nationalities from all over the world creating a unique group of coffee aficionados to bring our Dose offerings to. Our flair and style of preparation together with quality ingredients and an original ambience is sure to resonate with our new fans in the country,” said Fawaz Al Amri, CEO & Partner Dose Cafe. “We have strategically picked the Al Mouj location to start our first foray into Oman and will soon be looking at expansion,” he added.
