Modern College teams up with Landmark to develop HR training in retail ,hospitality sectors

The Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Landmark Group to develop human capital in the retail and hospitality sector in the Sultanate.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Centre for Graduate and Professions Studies (CGPS), a training unit of MCBS, will develop specialised training in the retail and hospitality industry for young Omanis, to improve their skills and become qualified to be employed at various professional levels.
Landmark Group is one of the largest retail and hospitality conglomerates in the Middle East, Africa and India. The company has a commanding business presence in Oman.
The CEO of Landmark Group said that the MoU would pave the way to equip young Omanis with the skills needed in the private sector.
“We are happy to partner with one of the best colleges in Oman to develop young talents that would serve the business communities in the private sector. This partnership will complement the call from both the Ministry of Manpower and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to prepare young Omanis to take up responsible positions to serve the country,” said Clive Freeman, CEO landmark Group, Oman.
