Khedmah and Vodafone Sign Joint Cooperation Agreement

Muscat: Oman Investment and Finance Company (Khedmah) and Vodafone Oman recently signed a joint cooperation agreement with Vodafone Oman. Within the framework of the agreement, Vodafone Oman will be offering its services in Khedmah branches.
The agreement was signed at the Vodafone office by Saud Ahmed Al Siyabi, Chief Operating Officer for OIFC and Ahmed Said Al Shuaili, Chief Financial Officer for Vodafone. As per the agreement, Khedmah will offer Vodafone sim cards along with subscription and recharge services.
Commenting on the Vodafone tie-up, Saud Al Siyabi said, “We would like to congratulate Vodafone on the launch of their operations in Oman, and we are also delighted to collaborate with them at the beginning of their journey. The agreement reflects Khedmah’s constant efforts toward keeping up with the latest developments on the market by integrating with brands and companies that are a necessity in individual lives today. That is why we aspire to release new and smart products that cater to community needs. Khedmah is a safe and complete platform that allows customers to avail many services at the same time and save their time, effort and money.”
From his side, Ahmed Al Shuaili, stated, “As part of Vodafone’s efforts to extend its services to all its subscribers within the Sultanate, our recent agreement allows us to ensure the availability of Vodafone’s offering to Khedmah’s network of 68 branches, located across all the wilayats of Oman, as well as on its renowned digital platforms. This signing is also aligned with our vision to digitise telecommunication in the country by raising it to a whole new level that sees the provision of an integrated and unmatched customer experience.”

OIFC branches have a qualified workforce trained to fulfil customers’ requirements with the highest service standards. Oman Investment and Finance Company is one of the leading investment and services companies and specialises in billing, collection & debt factoring for electricity, water and telecom services in the Sultanate. Vodafone in Oman is the latest mobile telecommunications services provider in the Sultanate. It began its operations late last year by launching an exclusive offer to its customers that provided the first-of-its-kind package of services at nominal prices.
