‘Pokemon Go’ Players Spent Nearly $900 Million in 2019

A report from Sensor Tower says mobile game Pokemon generated $894 million in 2019. That figure is now the game’s highest yearly intake.
Compared to 2018, it’s a jump of 10 percent in player spending. It’s also the most the game has made since bringing in $832 million in 2016. That was the same year it first reached people’s phones.
Since its debut, ‘Pokemon Go’ has accumulated $3.1 billion overall.
Most of 2019’s revenue came from the U.S. and Japan, which together accounted for 70 percent. Both countries generated over $620 million for the location-based game
