Oman National Team To Play Australia in World Cup 2022 Asian Qualifiers

Doha: The national football team of the Sultanate will play its Australian counterpart, the third encounter in the World Cup 2022 Asian Qualifiers. The match starts at 10.30, Oman time, at Khalifa International Stadium here.
The match is of great significance to the Oman team, which will come back later to Muscat to play Vietnam as part of the fourth round. Oman will try its best to win the points of the match and challenge the clean record of Australia, which made history as the only team to have registered 10 consecutive victories in World Cup qualifiers.
During its training camp in Qatar, Oman played two friendlies with Nepal and Qatar military team. Its players showed enthusiasm and they look forward to taking on Australia.
