MoH: Over Half a Million People Benefit from Tetamman Clinics, Takkad Centers

SPA — The Ministry of Health (MoH) has stated that more than half a million people have benefited from the services of Tetamman clinics and Make Sure (Takkad) centers in various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since their launch.
The ministry indicated that Tetamman clinics are devoted to serving individuals who show COVID-19 symptoms, such as throat sore, fever, shortness of breath, and coughing. The clinics also receive patients without appointments. The clinics are located in some health centers and hospitals and number about 235 clinics in different regions, where they have provided services so far to 208,000 beneficiaries, the ministry added.
The Health Ministry also added that Make Sure (Takkad) centers are designated for those who do not have symptoms, or who have mild symptoms, and believe that he/ she had contact with an infected person with Coronavirus. The centers provide Coronavirus testing service after booking appointments via Sehaty App to take samples from them. So far, the beneficiaries of Takkad Centers have totaled 357,000. MoH indicated that the Takkad centers are currently located in some health centers, and in drive-through Coronavirus testing centers. They will be available during the next few days in all regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the ministry added.
