Talabat Oman To Donate Profits Of Thursday October 7th To Cyclone Shaheen Relief Efforts

Muscat: Talabat Oman, Oman’s leading food and q-commerce delivery app, announced today that it will donate 100% of all profit made on Thursday, October 7th, 2021 to Cyclone Shaheen relief efforts, facilitated through the Oman Charitable Organisation.
This is in addition to the platform already providing customers with the ability to donate to Dar Al Atta’s Cyclone Shaheen relief fund – where they have donated over 33,000 OMR in the last two days, as well as a list of other charities found under the “give back” collection launched yesterday.
Mohamed Zourob, Managing Director of Talabat Oman, says that Talabat stands in solidarity with the people of the Sultanate of Oman during this time.
“I would like to first express our sincerest condolences to those families who have lost loved ones in Cyclone Shaheen. The whole sultanate is mourning with you. I would also like to offer our support to those families that have been displaced, or whose property has been destroyed due to Cyclone Shaheen.” Zourob said.
“Through donating, either through the Dar Al Atta relief fund or through our profits from Talabat Oman of 7th of October to the Oman Charitable Organisation – we are privileged to facilitate and help in a small way to those that need aid the most,” Zourob added.
Customers can download the Talabat application from the Google Play Store, IOS App store, or Huawei App Gallery to order from Talabat, or donate through any of the listed charities on the platform.
