As per data that was revealed by the Ministry of Finance and Oman’s mid-term Fiscal Plan 2020-2024, the new plan will exempt citizens of 100 countries from obtaining a visa prior to entering Oman.
More details on the countries listed in the report are awaited from the Ministry. An official date of implementation of the new law has also not been disclosed.
The report reads: “The Fiscal Plan 2020-2024 will encourage more tourists to visit Oman and will enhance the tourism sector while raising its contribution to the national economy.”
