OCCI Announces Completion of Oman’s Debut Indian Film “Raastha”
Muscat: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) recently announced the completion of Oman’s debut Indian film “Raastha”. The film is set to make it’s premiere on 5th January. 2024. This is one of Oman’s biggest achievements that establishes a new phase for the country to position itself as a sought after destination for international filmmakers and shoot films which in turn can leverage foreign investment and boost the tourism in the country.
His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry stated that in alignment with Oman Vision 2040, OCCI seeks to expand the economic diversification of the country by supporting the sectors relied upon in this direction, most notably the tourism sector, as ‘Raastha’ will work to promote Oman’s topography and geographical locations that reflect the richness and cukltural heritage of the Sultanate which will garner more visitors. The film campaigns and promotions in the Indian Film fraternity will exclusively benefit Oman that can have a positive global impact.
Raastha is a Malayalam language film starring Sarjano Khalid, Anagha Narayanan, Aradhya Ann. Watch the trailer here.
