Khedmah Expands its Branch Network Bringing Services Closer to Customers
Muscat: Committed to expanding the reach of its services, Oman Investment & Finance Co. (Khedmah), has recently opened three new branches in the Wilayat of Ibri Alaraqi, Liwa and Al Buraimi. Furthermore, the company has launched a new self-service kiosk in Al Muzn mall in the Wilayat of Al Seeb. With the addition of the new branches and the kiosk, the Khedmah network now boasts 68 branches and 54 kiosks across the Sultanate along with electronic channels such as the popular Khedmah phone app and the website that allow clients to leverage the company’s innovative services.
The new branches were designed as per the best practices in the industry and equipped with the latest technologies known in the market. This resonates with the integrated services the company provides to its clients to meet their expectations and fulfil their needs. Through these branches, kiosks and other platforms, beneficiaries can pay electricity, water, telecommunications bills, and the Public Authority for Social Insurance dues, in addition to recharging their phone, prepaid electricity and entertainment subscription.
Speaking on the network expansion, Mohammed bin Obaid Al Guthi, Regional Manager of Khedmah Branches in Majan Region, said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of the new branches and the launch of the self-service kiosk. This milestone comes in line with our strategy for this year which focuses on renovating and relocating several Khedmah branches to more strategic and accessible locations. Furthermore, we are focused on launching many self-service kiosks in highly populated areas to keep pace with market developments, competition factors and modern development.”
“At OIFC, we constantly strive to target various segments of society around the Sultanate and provide them with high end and easily accessible services. The company will continue its sterling efforts to give more to the people of Oman,” he added.
Additionally, the new branches have a qualified workforce trained to fulfil customers’ needs with the highest service standards. Over the past period, Khedmah’s branches and digital channels saw a strategic development in terms of expansion and new innovative services. These achievements came as a result of extensive studies conducted by the company on the locations of branches, market developments, and the level of customer satisfaction with the services delivered. This allowed OIFC to acquire insights and determine what is desired by consumers, and thus provide tailor-made services to them that meet their aspirations.
OIFC is one of the leading Investment and Services Companies and specialises in billing, collection & debt factoring for electricity, water and telecom services in the Sultanate of Oman. The company’s various branches and e-payment channels allow customers to easily pay their electricity, water and telecommunications bills, recharge phone, electricity prepaid meter bills as well as making payments to the Public Authority for Social Insurance (PASI). Through its various branches across the Sultanate, the company also provides customer support related to these services.
