Foreign Ministry Signs Strategic Agreement With Oman Post & Asyad Express
Muscat: The Foreign Ministry of Oman has signed a strategic agreement with Oman Post & Asyad Express, a member of Asyad Group. The agreement, under which Oman Post & Asyad Express will provide the Ministry with local and international postal and logistics services including clearance and delivery for incoming diplomatic as well as regular shipments, was signed by HE Mohammed Al Wahaibi Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Nasser Al Sharji, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Post and Asyad Express.
HE Mohammed Alwahaibi, Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs said, “In addition to fulfilling the Oman 2040 Vision for a smart government, the agreement with Oman Post comes within the framework of the Ministry’s endeavours to streamline its communications’ systems, parcel and shipment requirements at the local and international level. It is always paramount for us as well as the diplomatic community to boost productivity, maximize efficiency, and optimize security. We are glad to draw on Oman Post & Asyad Express experience and established network and look forward to a fruitful partnership.”
