COVID-19: Oman’s National Museum Opens Doors After Eight Months

The National Museum of Oman has opened doors to the public after tourist spots and museums were allowed to resume services by the Supreme Committee.

The National Museum has opened for visits by members of the public in line with a decision undertaken by the Supreme Committee tasked with tackling developments resulting from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The museum has made complete arrangements to safeguard the health of visitors. It will limit the number of persons to use the lifts and halls as a measure to achieve safe physical distancing.

The visitors will also be put in limited groups to be escorted by specialised guides.

They will be allowed access to the museum from 10 am to 5 pm all over the week, except on Fridays when visits will be allowed between 2 pm and 6 pm.
