ASMED Seeks To Strategise SME Development In Oman

Muscat: The Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (ASMED) is preparing a strategy for the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Sector in line with Oman Vision 2040. The strategy seeks to furnish a supportive environment for SMEs through the development of mechanisms and programs that strengthen the integration of all entities related to entrepreneurship.
The strategy is being prepared with a view to augmenting the contribution of SMEs to the gross domestic product, raising the Sultanate of Oman’s indicators in the field of entrepreneurship, and generating new employment opportunities.
