ahlibank To Hold First 2021 Wafra Quarterly Draw With Prizes Worth More Than RO300,000

Providing its customers with more reasons to save and maintain a healthy balance in their ahlibank account, the bank has announced its first quarterly draws under ‘Wafra 2021’ program with a total prize value of more than OMR 300,000.
The Bank will reward eight lucky winners, including one winner who gets a ‘Salary for Life’ prize of a whopping RO 250,000. ahlibank will hold the much anticipated prize draws on its official social media pages.
Commenting on the first quarterly 2021 Wafra draws, Muneer Al Balushi – AGM, Head of Retail Distribution, Ahli Bank said, “It is our constant endeavor to encourage a savings culture among the public, as reflected in the increased chances of winning and rewards offered by Wafra 2021. The Wafra Prize scheme is a testament to our long-term vision of providing Omani youth and families with an environment that supports their financial stability and prudent banking practices. This also gives us an opportunity to contribute towards the country’s economic and social development goals that are defined in the Oman Vision 2040.”
Wafra’s “Salary for Life’ prizes includes grand prizes with a total of RO 1 million, under which the bank offers a prize of RO 250,000 per quarter (RO 1,000 paid monthly for 250 months), awarded to four lucky winners throughout the year. Customers need to keep an average quarterly balance of at least RO 1,000 to be qualified. In addition, the minimum amount of RO 1,000 must be available in the account on the last day of the draw period.
In addition to the grand quarterly draws, the Bank has also allocated special quarterly draws to five lucky winners to be rewarded with a cash prize of RO 25,000, equivalent (RO 5,000 each), prize of RO 25,000 for one Premium and Exclusive winner, and another lucky winner from Imtiyaz segment will be rewarded with prize of RO 10,000.

The new 2021 Wafra prize scheme aims to reward more than 1,600 customers across ahlibank’s branches in the Sultanate, with a total cash prize of more than RO 2 million”, he added.
In addition to the quarterly draws for the category ‘Salary for Life’ and the special draws, there are also weekly and monthly prizes under salary transfer prizes, weekly and monthly prizes for the Bank’s branches, children prizes and youth prizes under ‘MyChoice’, retiree segment ‘Istqrar’ prizes, special prizes for Premium and Exclusive customers and Imtiyaz customers in addition to special event draws such as the 51st National Day and the opening of new branches. To be qualified in these draws the Bank explains the terms and conditions on its website, and will announce details of these draws and the names of winners through its official social media pages.
