OERLIVE CONFERENCE & AWARDS
OERLive Conference & Awards 2022 To Highlight Innovation and Digital Transformation In Oman
OERLive, the Sultanate’s leading digital platform for business, technology, economy, and lifestyle, will be organizing the OERLive Conference & Awards 2022 on June 8th at the Al Bustan Palace, A Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
The second edition of the Conference will throw the spotlight on digital transformation in the Sultanate under the foresight of the Oman Vision 2040, and will deep dive into topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), 5G as an enabler of Industry 4.0, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, the rise of e-Commerce during the COVID-19 pandemic, Fintech and Blockchain, and the rise of disruptive technologies.
With a collective aim to empower organisations across corporate and government sectors with digital turnkey solutions, insights and analyses, and to help them keep pace with the ever-evolving digital ecosystem, the one-of-its-kind Conference will bring in key speakers, industry leaders, analysts, and C-suite executives from across the region.
Digital transformation is driving the nation’s move towards achieving all goals set under Oman Vision 2040 and is empowering creative individuals to set the tone for a competitive economy that creates a responsible digital government. This should also pave way for the Sultanate’s ICT market, which is expected to grow to RO2.2 billion by 2024 from RO1.2 billion in 2019, and push for new levels of citizen engagement.
With youth accounting for 46.7 per cent of the community and innovation being paramount in the state apparatus’ shift to a modern, digital governance model, Oman offers strong grounds for advances towards the fourth industrial revolution. This comes on the heels of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology’s bold move to implement AI systems across its governing units.
The Digital Transformation & Innovation Awards 2022 will also be presented at the Conference to commemorate exceptional organizations and individuals in the sector. For inquiries, contact:19
