What Are The Symptoms Recorded In Patients Administered With COVID-19 Vaccine?

Muscat: Oman’s Minister of Health, H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saidi, has reiterated that the Pfizer-BioNTech Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine is safe and effective.
Oman’s Minister of Health visited a number of COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Muscat as part of the National Campaign for Immunization against COVID-19.
The Minister briefed on the health workers’ efforts in tackling the COVID-19 pandemic and the healthcare services provided for the infected patients.
Here are some post-vaccine symptoms that have been recorded in Oman:
1) Headache
2) Body Ache
3) Low fever
4) Skin rashes
During the visit, which included Al-Seeb Polyclinic and Bowsher Polyclinic, the Minister viewed the smooth process of vaccination for the target groups, the daily statistics of vaccinations, as well as the mechanisms of receiving the target groups.
Furthermore, the Minister met a number of medical staff working at these clinics and listened to their suggestions.
“We are very glad to see the citizens and residents taking the vaccine,” the Minister of Health stated to the media.
He then asserted that the vaccine is safe and effective.
Al-Saidi added that 7,600 people in the Sultanate have been vaccinated thus far, with no additional side effects than what has been registered.
The Minister of Health called upon all to not pay attention to rumors and forward to the distributed vaccination centers across the Sultanate.
The Minister was accompanied by Dr. Thamra Al-Ghafri, Acting Director-General of Health Services of Muscat Governorate.
It is worth mentioning that the Sultanate has started early last week the National Campaign for Immunization against COVID-19 for the target groups.
