The Zubair Corporation Appoints Hilal Al Siyabi As Chief Corporate Services Officer

MUSCAT: In line with its continuous strategy and vision to hire nationals to high management positions, The Zubair Corporation has appointed Hilal Al Siyabi as Chief Corporate Services Officer.
Hilal Al Siyabi’s corporate communications expertise is a valuable addition to The Zubair Corporation’s executive team. In this new role, he will be responsible for corporate communications and CSR; HR; IT; government relations in addition to the facility and services management for The Zubair Corporation.
The appointment of Hilal Al Siyabi strongly underlines Z-Corp’s strategic objective to empower and encourage a highly talented workforce in leadership positions in the private sector. It also emphasizes the group’s commitment to advancing and increasing the Omani workforce in top management positions. The elevation is aligned with the organization’s human resources policy to appoint Omani talents and build a sustainable work environment that attracts a national workforce.
Regarding this appointment, Rashad Mohammad Al Zubair, chairman, The Zubair Corporation said: “We are keen to build young Omani competencies that assume higher administrative and operational roles in the corporation and its subsidiaries. Within the framework of that strategy, Z-CORP seeks to attract young Omani cadres in various disciplines. Those who were appointed by the group within its corridors, today occupy the first rows in managing the group’s business.”
He added: “Today I welcome Hilal Al Siyabi, a new young Omani talent to join the Z-CORP. He has the experience that qualifies him to be part of the corporation’s administrative work. We hope he will contribute to the institution’s present and future roles in the national economy, and contribute to achieving the institution’s vision, mission, and goals through the administrative duties entrusted to him. Over the last 23 years, Hilal Al Siyabi has had extensive exposure across numerous areas of communications and stakeholder engagement right from external and internal communications, brand PR, corporate communications, consumer affairs, international relations, and sustainability in both the private and public sector.
Hilal Al Siyabi’s career has included a top corporate communications position at Oman Arab Bank, as well as a media affairs role at Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA). In his previous stint at The Zubair Corporation, he served as head of corporate communications. He has also held important positions in diplomatic and international institutions.
An exceptional communications executive and strategist, Hilal has a master’s degree in public policy from Carnegie Mellon University in the USA and a bachelor of science in environmental science degree from The Ohio State University in the USA.
