Real Estate Deals Up By 28.1% in November 2024

The treaded value of real estate transactions in the Sultanate of Oman increased by 28.1 per cent to RO3,130.8 million till the end of November 2024, compared to RO2,444.6 million in the same period of 2023, according to the latest data released by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
According to preliminary statistics issued by NCSI, fees collected for all legal action transactions amounted to RO62.1 million till the end of November 2024, an increase of 2.6 per cent compared to the corresponding period of 2023.
The traded value of sale contracts reached RO1,001.7 million by the end of November 2024, and the number of sale contracts increased by 1.9 per cent to 61,552, compared to 60,424 in the same period of 2023.
The traded value of mortgage contracts increased by 44.8 per cent till the end of November 2024 to RO2,116.8 million compared to RO1,462.2 million during the same period of 2023. Meanwhile, the number of mortgage contracts decreased by 12.2 per cent to 18,846 contracts from 21,461 contracts in the same period of 2023.
The traded value of barter contracts increased by 18.1 per cent to RO12.4 million by the end of November 2024 compared to RO10.5 million in the same period of 2023. The number of barter contracts decreased by 6.1 per cent to reach 1,223 contracts by the end of November 2024 compared to 1,302 contracts in November 2023.
The number of title deeds issued by the end of November 2024 decreased by 3.4 per cent to 210,483, whereas the number of title deeds issued to citizens of GCC countries increased by 6.8 per cent to 1,325 compared to 1,241 till the end of November 2023.
