Omani-Uzbek Joint Committee Explores Areas of Cooperation
Muscat: The online meeting of the Omani-Uzbek Joint Committee, held today, explored the cooperation relations in the fields of economy, trade, investment, education and culture between the two countries.
The Omani side in the meeting was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, the Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs, while the Uzbek side was headed by Shukhrat Vafaev, Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade, Executive Director of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development.
The meeting was attended by Oman’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, the Charge D’affaires of the Uzbek embassy in Muscat and several officials from both sides.
