OMAN WEATHER UPDATE : Cyclone Shaheen To Hit Mainland between 6PM to 9PM
Muscat: The centre of Cyclone Shaheen is likely to make landfall between 6 pm to 9 pm on Sunday, Oman News Agency reported.
The centre of the cyclone will cross between Wilayat Musannah and Sohar on Sunday evening, the report said.
In a fifth alert issued by Oman Met, the centre of the tropical cyclone is about 65 km from Muscat Governorate, 110 km from the Wilayat of Musanah, and 190 km from the Wilayat of Sohar.
According to CAA, rainfall will continue between medium and heavy in the Governorate of Muscat, while the governorates of South and North Al Batinah are affected by heavy rain and high-speed winds during the direct impact of the tropical cyclone during these hours.
