Oman to Participate in 2021 Fide Online Chess Olympiad
Muscat: The National Chess Team will participate in the 2021 Fide Online Chess Olympiad which will be held from 20 August to 15 September.
The event, organized by the International Chess Federation, will see the participation of 163 countries.
The National Chess Team will be represented by 6 players in different categories as follows:
In the men’s category: Salim al-Amri and Amin al-Ansi. In the women’s category: Anat al-Isa’ee and Al Anood al-Ghafri. In the youth category: Hamoud al-Busaidi and Rawan al-Balushi.
