Oman Forum 2021 To Focus On Renewed Renaissance And Vision 2040
Muscat: The 10th edition of Oman Forum 2021 imparting insights on the roadmap for Vision 2040 and Renewed Renaissance will facilitate a constructive dialogue amongst stakeholders.
The event is slated for 8th March 2021 and will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
The half-day event delivered in Arabic and organized by Alam Al-Iktisaad will take place at the Sheraton Oman Hotel. His Excellency Dr. Saif bin Abdullah bin Sulaiman al-Haddabi, Undersecretary – Research and Innovation, Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation will be the guest of honour and keynote speaker.
Graced by top government officials, decision-makers, C-suite executives, business owners, SMEs, young entrepreneurs, university graduates and changemakers, the event offers captivating content and a line-up of key personalities from the Sultanate.
They will review Oman’s journey on the path of the Renewed Renaissance that aims to leverage its competitive advantage, foster private sector-driven competitive business environment, and create an efficient and friendly governance framework.
The event will align the policymakers and thought leaders to offer perspectives for overcoming challenges posed by the pandemic, the economic and social implications and measures to make Oman a self-sustained nation.
The engaging panel discussions and presentations made by industry stalwarts, budding entrepreneurs, ecosystem enablers, and the thought-provoking address by the eminent profiles, will offer in-depth direction on Oman’s futuristic plans, government policies and socio-economic environment.
The informative and interactive sessions will offer the audience more details on Vision 2040, which will create a nation built on innovation, sustainable development, diversified economy, and empowered knowledge-based society.
The two-panel discussion consisting of luminaries from various sectors will inspire the audience on topics that include ‘Oman’s readiness to transition to an innovation, technology and knowledge-based society & economy’ and ‘Building a sustainable future through innovation’.
The dynamic entrepreneurs and scholars from various fields will present a series of case studies. The event will also witness the presentation of the Alam Al-Iktisaad Sustainability Awards for achievers in the areas of Human, Social, and Economy, and Environment.
