Oman Condemns Israel’s Escalations
Muscat: In a statement issued by the ONA, Oman reaffirmed its support for Palestine and the Palestinian people stating, “The Sultanate reaffirmed its condemnation of Israeli occupation forces’ storming the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and rejects the policies and procedures leading to the displacement of the brotherly Palestinian people from their homes in the city of Jerusalem.”
Further addressing the need for immediate action, the spokesperson added that “During its participation in the meeting of the Open-ended Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which was held today via a video call, the sultanate called on the international community to intervene immediately to force Israel to stop the brutal military attack on Gaza, which resulted in the death of hundreds of innocent people and the destruction of their homes.”
