Mwasalat To Resume Regular Services From Today

Muscat: Mwasalat will resume its regular bus and ferry services from today [Saturday, October 24], as per a statement issued by the transport company.
The company had earlier altered its schedules to comply with the steps taken by the Supreme Committee to tackle the Coronavirus (COVID-19); namely, the night curfew, which saw a nationwide ban on movement from 8 pm to 5 am.
The statement reads: “As per the instructions of the Supreme Committee of COVID-19, Mwasalat would like to bring to your kind attention that buses’ and ferries’ services operating through Sinyar will resume their regular schedules as follows:
– City bus service (Muscat Governorate), starting on Saturday, 24th October.
– Inter-city bus services (to the various governorates of the Sultanate) starting on Saturday, 24th October.
– Resuming the operation of Route 100 (Muscat – Salalah) starting on Saturday, 24th October.”

Mwasalat has also stated that it will resume ferry services from Sunday, October 25. Passengers can contact the call center at 8007 2000 for more information.
