Moosa Al Hassani Appointed as Senior Director of Business Development at The Zubair Corporation
Muscat: The Zubair Corporation (TZC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Moosa Al Hassani as the Senior Director of Business Development at the Corporation. This strategic decision aligns with the Corporation’s commitment to nurturing and empowering Omani talent, preparing them for significant leadership roles across diverse sectors within the group. Al Hassani’s appointment exemplifies its dedication to the development of local competencies, as part of the Zubair Corporation’s Omani Competencies Development Programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharifa Al Balushi, Group Head -Human Capital Centre of Excellence at The Zubair Corporation, expressed her appreciation stating, “This appointment is in perfect alignment with the goals of the Omani Competency Development Programme, a fundamental pillar of our organisational strategy. We take great pride in Moosa Al Hasani, as he brings with him a wealth of experience in investment management and financial analysis, coupled with leadership skills that will drive business development and foster growth within The Zubair Corporation and its subsidiaries.”
Moosa Al Hassani expressed a sense of pride upon his appointment as the Senior Director of Business Development at The Zubair Corporation. He stated, “This opportunity fills me with immense pride, and I am eager to leverage my expertise to foster business development”, He emphasised. “This appointment signifies my dedication to The Zubair Corporation’s vision, which empowers and nurtures the potential of Omanis. I am committed to realising our shared aspirations, fostering the Corporation’s growth and prosperity”, Al Hassani added.
Armed with over 28 years of experience, Moosa became a part of The Zubair Corporation in late 2008, taking on the role of Director of Investments. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing the management of the company’s investment portfolio. Prior to his tenure at the Corporation, he garnered substantial expertise in the realms of investment and financial markets while working with various financial institutions within the Sultanate. His diverse background equips him with a wealth of knowledge to contribute effectively to the growth and development of The Zubair Corporation.
Moosa Al Hassani has served as a representative of The Zubair Corporation across several company boards, including the National Biscuit Manufacturing Company, the International College of Engineering and Management, and the Oman Abrasives Company. Furthermore, Moosa holds a master’s degree in business administration, a diploma in strategic management and leadership, and a bachelor’s degree in Sharia sciences, showcasing his diverse and well-rounded educational background.
