Liva Insurance Wins Top Accolades in Branding and HR at the Oman Brand Leadership Awards 2024
In a remarkable display of corporate excellence, Liva Insurance has achieved a significant milestone by securing two prestigious honors at the ‘Oman Brand Leadership Awards 2024,’ organized by The GreatTM Marketing Show.
This recognition highlights the Company’s unwavering commitment to innovation and leadership, aligning perfectly with the strategic goals of Oman Vision 2040.
Held at the Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC on July 24, 2024, under the auspices of H.H. Sayyida Basma Al Said, the awards ceremony honored Liva Insurance with accolades for ‘Best Rebranding Campaign’ and ‘Best Employer.’ These distinctions underscore the strategic initiatives pertaining to the Company’s rebranding campaign and its pledge to cultivating a supportive workplace environment.
Founded in 1995, The GreatTM Marketing Show is renowned for recognizing outstanding achievements in branding and marketing throughout the MENA and South-Asian regions.
With individual sectors in focus, Liva Insurance’s triumph in the ‘Best Rebranding Campaign’ category was the result of a meticulously planned and executed strategy aimed at revitalizing the company’s brand identity during the successful merger between Al Ahlia Insurance and National Life and General Insurance Company (NLGIC) in 2023.
The comprehensive rebranding initiative included a modernized logo, refreshed visual elements across all brand collaterals, and a cohesive marketing strategy that has resonated well with the audience in Oman. The executed campaigns not only enhance brand visibility but also reinforce Liva Insurance’s core values of trust, innovation, and customer-centricity.
Bader Al Lawati, Head of Brand and Communications at Liva Insurance, stated upon receiving the award: “Our rebranding campaign was an ambitious project designed to reflect our growth and the evolving needs of our customers. Winning this award is a testament to the hard work and creativity of our team. It also validates our efforts to present a contemporary and relatable brand image that stands out in the competitive and quickly-evolving insurance market.
“The ideas that emerged from our marketing strategy were aligned to assure all our customers and stakeholders that the two insurance brands they have trusted for decades have united to create a new brand that not only echoes the values we have instilled in Oman but across the GCC markets as well,” he added.
Meanwhile, the accolade for ‘Best Employer’ acknowledged Liva Insurance’s commitment to creating an exceptional workplace for its staff. The Company has implemented class-leading HR practices, including extensive training programs, health and wellness initiatives, and a culture of recognition and inclusivity. These efforts have cultivated a positive work environment, fostering superior employee satisfaction and brand loyalty.

Fathiya Al Hajri, Head of HR at Liva Insurance, said: “Being recognized as the best employer is an honor that reflects our dedication to our employees’ well-being and professional growth. We believe in nurturing a workplace where every individual feels valued and empowered. This award inspires us to continue building a culture of excellence and support for our talented workforce.
“We understand that employee engagement has a ripple effect that extends beyond the employees themselves; it also profoundly affects our customers. Employees’ attitudes toward their employer are reflected in their interactions, impacting every aspect of the customer experience. Engaged employees are more likely to exceed expectations and ensure a positive experience for our customers.
“At Liva Insurance, we are also committed to attracting and retaining top talent through our strategic recruitment efforts. Our robust Talent Acquisition Strategy is designed to identify and engage candidates who align with our culture and organizational needs,” she added.
The dual recognition at the Oman Brand Leadership Awards 2024 not only elevates Liva Insurance’s standing in the industry but also reaffirms its commitment to leading by example. As the company progresses, it remains steadfast in its mission to innovate, excel, and contribute significantly to the insurance sector and the broader economic landscape of Oman.
