Liva Insurance Joins National Efforts to Promote Safer Roads Across Oman

Liva Insurance has reaffirmed its commitment to community well-being and responsible driving by launching a nationwide awareness campaign as part of the Gulf Traffic Week 2025. The initiative includes a bold Out-of-Home (OOH) and social media campaign, focused on educating the public about road safety, and echoes the company’s mission to protect lives and promote responsibility behind the wheel.
This year’s Gulf Traffic Week, observed across the region under the theme “Safe Driving, Saves Lives”, shines a spotlight on one of the most critical issues on the road today: the dangers of using a phone while driving. The campaign calls on individuals, corporations, and institutions to recognise their role in creating a safer road environment. In full alignment with the Royal Oman Police’s (ROP) objectives, Liva Insurance’s campaign focuses on raising awareness about distracted driving, using impactful visuals, safety-first messaging, and community-wide outreach to encourage more mindful behaviour behind the wheel.
As part of its broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, Liva Insurance also took part in the Royal Air Force of Oman’s (RAFO) Traffic Day, held at Ghala Air Force Base earlier this month. The event, organized with strong community engagement and public education in mind, served as a platform for dialogue between government bodies, private entities, and youth—a core focus in Liva’s ongoing social mission.
Hanaa Al Hinai, CEO of Liva Insurance, shared her thoughts: “Traffic safety is not just a campaign, it’s a call to action. Our roads are shared spaces, and we all have a role to play in keeping them safe. At Liva Insurance, we take pride in supporting the Royal Oman Police’s vision and contributing to initiatives that create a lasting impact across Oman.”
With every campaign and collaboration, Liva Insurance continues to lead by example, championing awareness, empowering communities, and reinforcing the values of care, responsibility, and protection that drive its mission beyond insurance.
