With its top-notch solutions that make daily life easy for customers, Oman Investment and Finance Company’s (OIFC) Khedmah mobile app has accomplished a new milestone by surpassing 600 thousand downloads since its launch.
Taking a quantum leap in digital banking, Khedmah app is known for its ease of use and high level of security. It is considered an ideal alternative to cash payments, as well as to visiting branches to pay electricity, water and communication bills.
This new benchmark underscores the trust bestowed upon the company by the beneficiaries due to the variety of its seamless and high-quality services that can be utilised by all segments of the society. The app provides a plethora of features under one platform that customers can benefit from with a push of a button.
Through the app, customers can easily pay their electricity, water and telephone bills, recharge their phone, and also pay their electricity prepaid meter bills. In addition, customers can make payments to the Public Authority for Social Insurance (PASI), recharge entertainment subscriptions and subscribe to Awaser internet.
Khedmah recently added a new service in the field of collecting vehicle insurance premiums. Through the direct integration between Khedmah and the systems of Dhofar Insurance Company, customers of Dhofar insurance can now pay the insurance premiums for renewal of their vehicle insurance through the app and website.
Speaking on this achievement, Mr. Said Ahmed Safrar, CEO of OIFC said: “We are proud of this benchmark. The team’s efforts to provide the best and modern services have contributed to Khedmah’s success story. This accomplishment motivates us to innovate further and expand our digital solutions to keep abreast with the latest advancement in the sector as well as meeting customers’ aspirations.”

A wide array of Khedmah’s services can be obtained from the branches as well. The company boasts a robust network of branches and payment machines. Through the branches, clients can subscribe to Awasr and Omantel home internet products as well as Omantel postpaid packages.
