COVID-19: Ministry Releases List Of Hotels For 7-Day Institutional Quarantine In Oman
Muscat: The Ministry of Social Development has released a list of hotels wherein residents and citizens can undergo institutional quarantine in the Sultanate.
In a statement released to the public, the Ministry said that the rule will come into effect from Thursday [February 11], but did not mention whether the rule had been enforced at the time of publishing the news.
Below is a list of hotels where people can quarantine in Muscat:
- Swiss-Belinn Muscat
- Ibis
- Secure Inn
- Sheraton
- Tulip Inn
- Somerset Panorama Muscat
As per the statement, people will have to book these hotels once they arrive at the Muscat International Airport.
People travelling to other Governorates will have to rely on local hotels that have been enlisted as acceptable for institutional quarantine.
- Hotels in Musandam: Dibba Beach Hotel and Khasab Hotel
- Hotels in Dhofar: Alpha Hotel Salalah
- Hotels in Buraimi: Arena Hotel
- Hotels in Al Dakhliyah: Al Diyar Hotel
- Hotels in North Al Sharqiyah: Golden Rays Hotel
- Hotels in South Al Sharqiyah: Sur Beach Hotel
- Hotels in North Al Batinah: Mercure Hotel Solar
