Canada Names A Street After Indian Music Maestro A.R Rahman

Indian music maestro A.R Rahman (AKA Mozart of Madras) now has a street named after him in Canada. He was honoured by the City of Markham on Monday.
Following this gesture, ARR took to social media and penned an emotional note for his fans, well-wishers and the Canadian government for this honour. The post said, “Honoured and grateful for this recognition from @cityofmarkham and the people of Canada 🇨🇦 🇮🇳 EPI

A.R Rahman’s colourful music career has spanned over 30 years in Pan Indian cinema and also in Hollywood. He has been an Academy recipient for the original composition “Jai Ho” in Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire.
