Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik issued two Royal Decrees today [Monday, January 11] that underline state and governance matters that are in line with the Oman Vision 2040.
As per the Oman News Agency, HM the Sultan will appoint a new Crown Prince to the Sultanate and state his duties and powers. The decree is also expected to establish a ‘specific and stable mechanism for the transfer of governing authority in the Sultanate’.
