Muscat: Oman’s Supreme Committee has taken strict decisions to curb the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) as numbers begin to rise once again.

The Committee has also decided to shut down “some commercial activities” that were previously reopened but did not comply with the established safety requirements.
While more details on the closed establishments haven’t been revealed as yet, the government body has stated that it will publish more information shortly.
Additionally, the Supreme Committee has also confirmed that it will reinstate night curfew in Oman starting from Sunday, October 11 until Saturday, October 24.
Movement will be banned during this period from 8:00pm until 5:00am. All public places and shops will remain shut during the curfew.
