Bank Muscat joins the GCC New Age Banking Summit 2016 as official banking partner
Leading financial services provider Bank Muscat has partnered with the GCC New Age Banking Summit 2016, to be held at the Crowne Plaza in Muscat, Oman on 23 May this year.

Leading financial services provider Bank Muscat has partnered with the GCC New Age Banking Summit 2016, to be held at the Crowne Plaza in Muscat, Oman on 23 May this year. The Bank will participate at the event as Official Banking Partner. His Excellency Hamood Sangour Al Zadjali, Executive President, Central Bank of Oman (CBO) will be the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker at the Summit.
With assets worth over $27 billion, Bank Muscat has a strong presence in Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Investment Banking, Islamic Banking, Treasury, Private Banking and Asset Management. The Bank has the largest network of 149 branches, 645 ATMs & CDMs and more than 10,000 PoS terminals.
The international operations consist of a branch each in Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), Kuwait and a Representative Office each in Dubai (UAE) and Singapore. Bank Muscat currently owns 97 per cent stake in Muscat Capital LLC, a brokerage and investment banking entity in Saudi Arabia
The GCC New Age Banking Summit will be a unique platform for the banking and finance professionals to discuss the new developments in global banking and debate on the focus areas for Omani banks. The event will host a line-up of expert regional and global industry speakers and help the audience gain expert insights on disruptive technologies, global banking trends and new age customer needs, and an opportunity to network with industry peers and banking solution providers. The event is supported by Bloomberg Businessweek Middle East.
Featuring sessions on Omni channel banking and risks & compliance, the event will stress on driving efficiency across various channels for better monetization as well as the need to be in line with regulatory norms while embracing digitization. Powered by Oman Economic Review (OER), the event will also host the Oman Banking and Finance Awards, an initiative to acknowledge the achievements of the best performers in the banking and non-banking finance sectors in the Sultanate.
