Are People Allowed To Drop Or Pick Air Passengers During Night Curfew Hours In Oman?
Muscat: Passengers flying to and fro the Sultanate during the hours of night curfew need not alter their flight tickets to adhere to the Supreme Committee’s decision to shut down commercial activities across the nation.
In a statement to the public, the Royal Oman Police (ROP)’s Director of Public Relations, Major Mohammed Al Hashmi stated that air passengers are allowed to travel to the airport provided they carry their air ticket with them.
Passengers are also permitted to have a companion drop or receive them from any of the airports across the nation. However, it is mandatory for the driver to carry a copy of the air ticket with them at all times.
Oman enters a nationwide night lockdown from today [March 28], with all commercial activities save for a few exceptions, remaining closed from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am.
