Kuwait offers food to have-nots in Ukraine
KUWAIT, May 20 (KUNA) — The Kuwaiti Embassy in Ukraine said Wednesday it has handed
out foodstuff to needy families in various cities in Ukraine on the occasion of the fasting month of Ramadan.
“Food supplies have been offered to needy families and students in different Ukrainian cities,” the embassy said in a press statement.
The good gesture is part of a wider initiative, jointly launched by the Kuwaiti Embassy in Ukraine and the General Secretariat of Awqaf, aiming at providing fast-breaking meals to the poor, according to the statement.
